SUMMERSVILLE, W. Va. (WVNS) -- A woman has been arrested after officers said she led them on a high-speed chase through two counties with a child in the vehicle.

The chase started Friday morning on Route 19 when officers tried to pull over Aretha Condner, from Orlando. Police say the driver wouldn't stop and led them on a chase at more than 100mph with her 13-year-old daughter in the passenger seat.

Officers tracked the vehicle to the Ames Heights area of Fayette County where the Condner reportedly crashed into a tree. Both Condner and her daughter were transported to Plateau Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Condner is in jail and charged with Felony Fleeing in a Vehicle with Reckless Indifference and Felony Child Neglect causing Risk of Injury.  Her daughter is now in CPS custody.
