Posted: Updated:

The State Police detachment in Princeton, WV will be on the look out for drunk and drugged drivers on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017.  Troopers are setting up a checkpoint on Oakvale Road in Mercer County.  They will be checking up on drivers from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

According to a release, the purpose of the checkpoint is to increase public awareness and to discourage people in West Virginia from driving a motor vehicle while their ability to do so has been impaired from the use of drugs or alcohol.
