This weekend is the 13th annual Freshwater Folk Festival in White Sulphur Springs. The National Fish Hatchery in White Sulphur holds this festival for educational fun. There will be blues music with musical guest Marshall Petty and the Groove and Lady D.
Food will also be provided at the event and there will be crafts and activities for the kids. Guests will be able to take a tour of the fish hatchery and the aquatic resource recovery center.
"It's going to be a lot of fun and it's also going to be very educational that's really one of the main reasons we have this festival is to educate and raise awareness about ongoing efforts for freshwater conservation," said Tyler Hern, Fish Biologist.
