Rafael Herrera enters guilty plea for wrong way deadly crash
Two-and-a-half years after Rafael Herrera turned around at the Ghent tollbooth and killed a woman in a crash, a plea agreement was reached. Herrera was charged with murder in the wrong-way crash that killed Lisa McCormick and critically wounded three teenage girls. McCormick was driving her family and a friend home from Disney World.
On Thursday, August 10 he entered a guilty plea to voluntary manslaughter and driving under the influence causing serious bodily injury. He was also sentenced to 7 years in prison.
