Fayette County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for the passenger of a vehicle that was involved in an accident on Route 19. It began at around 2:15 p.m. when a car and an SUV collided at the intersection of U.S. 19 and West Virginia Route 612.
Deputies said a Buick LeSabre driven by Tasha Hughes, 25, of Oak Hill apparently pulled in front of a Toyota 4-Runner driven by Amber Koch, also of Oak Hill. A passenger in the 4-Runner was taken to Plateau Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries.
Meanwhile, Diana Bailes, 42, of Oak Hill was riding in the Buick. Investigators said she ran from the scene. Deputies said there is an active warrant for her arrest. She is still on the run.
Hughes was determined to be at fault in the accident, but she did not receive a ticket. Deputies are still looking for Bailes.
