Three fires in western Raleigh County keep firefighters busy throughout the night.
Firefighters in western Raleigh County were kept busy throughout the night and morning. A totla of three fires broke out at homes in the Naoma area.
The first call was at 12:10 a.m. on Drews Creek Road. Two more fires broke out at around 3 a.m. Those were on Coal River Road and Peach Tree Road. Dispatchers said that the home on Coal River Road was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
Trap Hill Fire Department, Coal River Fire Department, and Whitesville Fire Department responded to all of the fires.
Crews cleared the scenes of all three fires at around 4 a.m., but they were called back out to Drews Creek Road at 8:25 a.m. after word came in that that fire had started up again.
No injuries were reported in any of the fires. The cause of the fires is not know at this time.
