The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for three southern West Virginia counties on Friday.
StormTracker59 meteorologist Bryan Hughes is tracking the storm that have dropped 3.5 inches of rain in the past six hours between Alta and Green Sulphur Springs. There are reports of flooding in the area of Grassy Meadows Road near Dawson. There is also flooding on 15th Street in Rainelle.
According to Hughes there was also two inches of rain that fell in the Alderson area over a three hour period. The flash flood warning covering Greenbrier, Summers and Monroe counties is in effect until 12:30 p.m.
