A man accused of murdering a Raleigh County woman is going to the grand jury.
Aaron Portis, 38, is charges with First Degree Murder. He allegedly shot Deborah Dalton on Aug. 19. Sources close to the case said that Dalton was shot twice in her car. Dalton's body was found under a car that had been driven down a hill in the Harper Heights area.
Portis was arrested on Saturday, Aug. 31. He had a preliminary hearing on Tuesday where it was determined that there was enough evidence to send the case to the grand jury. Portis is being held in the Southern Regional Jail.
