Board members elected Manchin to a two-year term as president on Wednesday.
Michael Green was elected as vice president.
Manchin was appointed to the board in 2007.
General Patrick Morrisey has agreed to help the board during its search
for a new superintendent. He told the board on Wednesday that his
office would provide help with legal questions such as ethics issues and
open meetings laws.
