Rabies Shot Clinics Announced in Wyoming County

Some help is on the way for pet owners to get their animals protected against rabies in Wyoming County.

There is a series of vaccination of clinics scheduled across the country on May 4.

Rabies and other vaccinations will be available at reduced rates.

The clinics will be held as follows:


  • 8:00 a.m. to 8:35 a.m. at Milam Creek Picnic Shelter in McGraws;
  • 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Tralee transfer station, WV Rt. 10;
  • 10:40 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. at Wyoming County Health Department parking lot in Pineville;
  • 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Jesse, across from State Police headquarters;
  • 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. at Baileysville transfer station;
  • 3:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at Cyclone Fire Department;
  • 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. at Gilliland Park shelter in Oceana.
County tax tags from the county assessor's office, for dogs will also be available during the clinics.
