Suspects accused of beating up a Beckley woman appear in court

BECKLEY, W.Va. -
Two men accused of brutally beating a Beckley woman are in court one week after the crime was allegedly committed.
Alfred Pittman and Damien Totten were scheduled to have a preliminary hearing in front of Magistrate Tomi Peck. But due to conflict of scheduling with their lawyers the preliminary hearing was canceled.
The two still appeared in court and where given several options by the magistrate.
Ultimately, both Pittman and Totten decided to wait for new attorneys and a preliminary hearing will be set within the next 10 days.
